A considered first step

A first conversation should feel easy to begin.

This is a practical guide to the first conversation—not a list of requirements. It is designed to help you arrive with enough context to make the time useful.

In the first 30 minutes

A useful starting point, not a sales meeting.

01

Start with the bigger picture

We begin with what is changing, what you want to protect or make possible, and the questions that feel most pressing. You do not need to arrive with the answer.

02

Bring context, not a perfect file

If you have a recent statement, lending question, policy, or notes about a business or family decision, it can be useful. If you do not, the conversation can still begin.

03

Decide what is useful next

We will explain the possible next steps in plain language. You can take time to consider whether Crestwell is the right fit before deciding whether to continue.

If it helps

A few things you might like to have nearby.

Bring only what is useful. There is no need to prepare a detailed financial file, make a decision, or know which service applies before we talk.

+

The one or two questions you most want to make clearer

+

A short note about any upcoming change at home, work, or in your business

+

Any existing document you think is relevant—only if it is easy to share

+

The people or responsibilities you want the conversation to keep in view

This guide is general information only. It does not consider your circumstances or provide personalised financial, legal, or tax advice. Please read Crestwell’s Disclosure Statement and How we are paid information before deciding whether to seek advice.

When you are ready

Start with the question that is most on your mind.
